Namastè!
Dropping back in to share something I learned with Baby Namastè, that would be immensely helpful to anyone who still has to belch a little baby.
Ein Bäuerchen machen.
"Make a little farmer."
It's very simple, and it's very effective.
Here's how to do it.
1. Position the baby a little higher than typical. For this technique, your breasts will be right at baby's tummy.
2. Lean forward so that baby's head would lean back just a bit. (Don't worry.) It would appear that baby is looking up at something.
3. Pat baby firmly (but of course gently) in an upward motion. I always pat my babies in 3s. Three taps, moving upward from the middle of baby's lower back to the area right between baby's shoulders.
Repeat this three times, so baby gets three good belches.
This is a parenting hack all the way from Germany.
